Donald Trump to unveil world’s biggest warship amid naval tensions with China
President Trump
will attend the Commissioning Ceremony at Naval Station Norfolk,
Virginia, later today where the aircraft carrier will be officially
welcomed into the US Navy.
The Navy last commissioned a top aircraft carrier in 1975, a ceremony in Norfolk presided over by President Ford himself.
The sailors, many of whom have worked on the ship over the last few years, are excited for the carrier to join the US fleet.

last four years come to life. This is an extremely exciting moment, not
just for us but for the whole crew.”
